Research description: I’m a mammalian paleontologist and I study the evolution and neurobiology of fossil mammals. My main research focuses on how the brain and inner ear of mammals evolved over millions of years. I’m currently a postdoc at the University of Edinburgh, where I work on the neurosensory biology of early placental mammals and on the phylogenetic relationships of early placental mammals by focusing on early Euarchontoglires.
