Research description: My long-term research goal is to better understand how genes and environment interact to shape distinctive primate adaptations and phenotypes. I am particularly interested in the role regulatory variation plays in human traits and diseases and how evolution has shaped these regions of the genome. To study this, I use a combination of genomics (broadly defined) and more experimental approaches to generate and test evolutionary hypotheses.
