On October 18th, 2018 we changed our name from the Academic Phylogeny of Physical Anthropology to the Academic Phylogeny of Biological Anthropology. We believe that "biological" better reflects the diversity of what we do as scientists.

Our main criterion for inclusion in this project is self-identification. In other words, if you consider yourself to be a biological/evolutionary anthropologist, then you should add your information. Another useful criterion is whether or not your work would be appropriate for publication in the American Journal of Biological Anthropology.

We have tried to strike a balance between accuracy and usability regarding the number of specializations available when you submit data. If you feel that there is a missing specialization, please drop us a line to let us know.
